Paper

Graphic design and the layout of your text is just the first step to customizing a stationery suite.  Consider the materials you print the design on, and even which style of envelope feels the most like “you!”  Review the options below, and let us know what you’re most interested in! Our paper and materials list is long.  Explore the choices below.

Basic Card Stock Choices

Our basic stock paper options are anything but basic!  Our semi-custom stationery collection is typically printed on our 120# Reich Savoy Eggshell Ultra White or Natural. Industry standards for card stock are usually 80# weight, so we’re using a quality paper that feels very luxurious - as our base line.  Quality paper is important to us. For our fully-customized suites, we also offer pearl, linen, felt, recycled, and more.

Colored Cardstock Options

Our colored invitations feature 110# solid colored options. We have access to pretty much any card stock colors (that are currently being produced).  There are so many options, it would take up our whole website to try to show them all to you.  So, below is a curated selection of card stock colors we love!  Just ask if you don’t see something that perfectly fits your needs - odds are, we can source it.

Paper Upgrades

For letterpress and deckled edging, our premium cotton paper is ideal.  118# cotton brilliant white or natural white are our two cotton options.  Letterpress also looks great on a double thick paper.  If you're interested in finishing touches like edge painting, you'll need the paper to be double thick.  Our double thick option is 236# and comes in ultra white or natural white eggshell.

Paper Alternatives

We frequently use alternatives to stock paper in our designs.  Some of our semi-custom designs already feature these alternatives, and are priced accordingly.  If you’d like to explore using an alternative to paper, such as vellum, leather, acrylic, hand made paper or wood, and our semi-custom suites aren’t exactly what you need, you’ll want to inquire about our fully customized invitations.  We love the creativity here, with using mixed media!  It’s our passion.

Envelopes

Envelopes come in a variety of colors, shapes, sizes, and flap styles.  We'll navigate the choices below:

COLORS

See our card stock colors above for examples of basic euro flap colors (our favorite style). Square flap envelopes come in different color options, and we can even color match & custom build envelopes if that's important to you.

ORDERING ENVELOPES

You’ll receive envelopes based on the number of invitation pieces you’re ordering.  Envelopes are always blank, and you have the opportunity to add custom printing or embellishments to each suite.  Consider ordering extra envelopes for an additional fee, especially if you’re printing them at home, or sending them out for calligraphy.

SIZE SELECTION

Here are the sizes that we source regularly.

      A1         3.625" x 5.125"          RSVP card minimum size (3.5" x 5" card size)

      A2         4.375" x 5.75"           Typical folded thank you note size (4.25" x 5.5" card size)

      A4         4.25" x 6.25"             Great size for Save the Dates (4" x 6" card size)

      A6         4.75" x 6.5"               Alternative Save the Date size (4.5" x 6.25" card size)

      A7         5.25" x 7.25"             Typical Invitation size (5" x 7" card size)

Alternative sizes and shapes can be custom made as well, but keep in mind that additional postage applies for oversized or heavier envelopes.

SHAPE OPTIONS

A rectangular shaped envelope is the standard, but we can also use square shaped envelopes as well.  Note that square shaped envelopes do cost more to mail.

FLAP STYLE

There are two main flap styles - euro flap and square flap.  But there are other less used options which are really unique, like deckled edges, die cut, or rounded shape - let us know what you're looking for, and we'll figure out a way to make it happen!
